Abstract

Many people in the Oden Institute use MATLAB for their research every day. In this talk, we will take an inside look at MathWorks, the company that creates this powerful programming language. One of the things that makes MATLAB so powerful is its detailed documentation. There are many standards and practices that make the documentation a high quality resource. Come to have an inside look at what writing documentation looks like, from technical writing skills all the way to storytelling through code. Not only will we look at the technical aspects of documentation, but we will also look at the perks and experience of living and working in Natick, Massachusetts.
